PPG site earns 2015 Supplier Performance Award from Canada TubeForm


PITTSBURGH, Oct. 13, 2016 – PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced that its Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, coatings services site has earned a 2015 Supplier Performance Award from Canada Tubeform. The site was recognized for providing superior performance to the manufacturer of tubular steel components and assemblies.

PPG's Cambridge facility serves more than 80 customers in the Ontario area, including Canada Tubeform. Established in 2001, the 158,000 square foot facility offers electrocoat (e-coat), powder coating and liquid paint application services supported by an on-site A2LA Corporate Performance Test laboratory.

Canada Tubeform manufactures tubular steel components and assemblies that are used widely by automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). PPG’s coatings services group provides electrocoat, powder coating and liquid paint application, as well as related management and support services, in 31 facilities worldwide and at customers' sites. PPG’s coatings services group was formed when the company completed its acquisition of MetoKote this year.
