PPG Foundation awards scholarship to Bath High School senior

Paul Blasiman to receive $1,500 per year

LIMA, Ohio, July 26, 2017 – The PPG Foundation has awarded a PPG Foundation Scholarship to Paul Blasiman, a senior at Bath High School in Lima, Ohio, who will be attending The Ohio State University in the fall.

The scholarship recognizes an outstanding student who has been selected by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and who is the child of a PPG associate. Paul is the son of Mark Blasiman, business development manager for PPG coatings services, formerly MetoKote, in Lima, Ohio.

PPG Foundation Scholarship awards are for $1,500 per year for up to four years of college study or until undergraduate degree requirements are completed, whichever comes first. Since the foundation initiated its scholarship program in 1956, it has awarded 3,591 scholarships. In 2017, the foundation sponsored 49 new scholarships.
